Game of Life Algorithm
The Game of Life was invented by mathematician John Horton Conway in 1970. The algorithm and its rules are in the public domain and free for anyone to implement.
Patterns
Classic Game of Life patterns included in this App (such as Glider, Gosper Glider Gun, Pulsar, etc.) are in the public domain. These patterns have been discovered and documented by the Game of Life community over decades.
