The Game of Life ("the App") is a free, web-based implementation of Conway's Game of Life, a cellular automaton simulation. The App allows users to create, view, and interact with cellular patterns in their browser.

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

3. Use of the Service

Conway's Game of Life

The Game of Life algorithm was invented by mathematician John Horton Conway in 1970 and is in the public domain. The rules and concept are freely available for anyone to implement.

Patterns

Classic Game of Life patterns included in the App (such as Glider, Gosper Gun, etc.) are in the public domain. Any patterns you create while using the App belong to you.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Australian Consumer Law Notice: Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other applicable consumer protection laws which cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.
